Previous scholarship recipients
Since 2019, the Fintiba Scholarship supports international students who turn their dream of coming to Germany into reality. We know all too well that there are many obstacles along the way of internationals to Germany and this annual Scholarship is our way to make your journey easier.
In 2022, we wanted to know “How do you intend to use your studies in Germany to alleviate global challenges and to help achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals?” and were really impressed to receive more than 320 applications. This year we offered larger scholarship awards to four talented students. Watch their video submissions in this playlist.
In 2021, we were excited to receive more than 170 great video applications. We also wanted to offer more award opportunities to not one, but seven potential recipients. We asked applicants: “What are you most looking forward to during your stay in Germany and how do you think your time here will help you reach your goals?”. Watch the video submissions of the 7 scholarship recipients in this playlist. You can also read about their stories and inspirational journeys to Germany in our “Meet the seven Fintiba 2021 Scholarship recipients” blog article.
In 2020, we were impressed to receive hundreds of deserving applications, which made our decision very challenging in selecting the final scholarship holder. The final recipient was Rida, a 26-year-old student of journalism from Pakistan. You can read more about her experiences of starting her studies in Germany during the pandemic in the “Meet Rida interview” on the Fintiba Blog.
In 2019, the Fintiba Scholarship holder was Selam Goitom for her outstanding achievements and inspiring personal life goals and dreams.
