Celine moved to Germany as an international student herself seven years ago to pursue her bachelor’s degree. After completing her studies, she joined Fintiba, where she’s have been working in the marketing department for the last three years. In this role, Celine actively supports internationals on their journey to Germany — from hosting webinars that help newcomers prepare for their start, to writing informative website articles on essential visa and university application processes, and creating social media content that provides quick, practical guides for daily life. Beyond daily work at Fintiba, Celine has also contributed to practical research on integration. She is a co-author of the Fintiba Insights research paper “Integration of Internationals in Germany”, and the subsequent policy paper “Zwischen Willkommen und Wirklichkeit” (Between Welcome and Reality), which examines how international STEM students can be better integrated into German society and the job market. Through this unique combination of first-hand experience and professional expertise, Celine brings valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities internationals face when starting their lives in Germany.
