Living in Berlin can be challenging, especially when it comes to finding an apartment, as is the case in many big cities. If you get a place through the university, it is much better. There were issues with public transport strikes in the past, but they have now been resolved. Professors often teach at both private and public universities, so the quality is comparable. However, when it comes to jobs, opportunities are offered, but ultimately it depends on you, nothing is guaranteed.
