1. Introduction
Fintiba GmbH, Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße 29, 60329 Frankfurt am Main (“Fintiba”) is the organizer of the Fintiba Scholarship giveaway (“Scholarship giveaway”). By entering the Scholarship giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Eligibility criteria

2.1 The Scholarship giveaway is open to individuals who:

• are 18 years or older as of the date of entry;
• are new Fintiba customers, meaning (1) customers who have already registered, or will register for the Fintiba Basic or Plus Packages, but have not yet activated their Blocked Account and/or Health Insurance prior to the start of the Scholarship giveaway;
• will begin their studies in Germany in the winter semester of 2025;
• submit a video entry to Fintiba before 23:59 CET on 30. September 2025;
• arrive in Germany and activate the Blocked Account and/or Health Insurance via Fintiba before 31. October 2025.

2.2. Employees of Fintiba, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. How to Enter
3.1. To enter the Scholarship giveaway, participants must submit an original video answering the question If you could do anything in Germany, what would be on your bucket list? (“Entry”) in mp4 format, which is no longer than one minute and thirty seconds (1.5 min) in duration.
3.2. Entries must be free of copyrighted content. Any video containing copyrighted material will be disqualified.
3.3. Entries must be in either English or German or if recorded in another language with English or German subtitles.
3.4. Entries must be submitted via the application form: fintibagoldenticket.paperform.co
3.5. Only one Entry per person is allowed. Please note if you submit multiple entries only the last Entry shall be considered.
3.6. Post your scholarship application video on your social media channel(s), tag @fintiba, and add the hashtags #FintibaGoldenTicket and #FintibaScholarship.

4. Entry Requirements
4.1. The Entry must be the original work of the participant.
4.2. The Entry must not contain any content that is obscene, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate as determined by Fintiba in its sole discretion.
4.3. By submitting an Entry, participants grant Fintiba a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the video or parts of it in any media.

5. Selection of Winners
5.1. Nine (9) winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by Fintiba.
5.2. Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and including an answer to the Scholarship giveaway question.
5.3. Winners will be notified via email and/or phone by 3.11.2025.

6. Prizes
6.1. Each of the Nine (9) winners will receive the following prizes based on the final ranking order determined by the Fintiba judging panel:

First place / Golden Ticket: EUR 12,000.00 (twelve thousand euro)
Second place / Silver Ticket: 1,000.00 (one thousand euro)
Third place / Silver Ticket: 1,000.00 (one thousand euro)
Fourth place / Silver Ticket: 1,000.00 (one thousand euro)
Fifth place / Bronze Ticket: EUR 200 (two hundred euro).
Sixth place / Bronze Ticket: EUR 200 (two hundred euro).
Seventh place / Bronze Ticket: EUR 200 (two hundred euro).
Eighth place / Bronze Ticket: EUR 200 (two hundred euro).
Ninth place / Bronze Ticket: EUR 200 (two hundred euro).

6.2. Prizes are non-transferable.
6.3. The monetary value of the prizes will be paid out to the same bank account the participant is using for their Fintiba Blocked Account monthly payouts.

7. Winner Obligations
7.1. Winners will be required to sign an additional agreement with Fintiba, which may include, but is not limited to, a release of liability, confirmation of eligibility, and consent to use their name, likeness, and Entry for promotional purposes without further compensation.
7.2. Failure to sign the agreement within 14 days of receiving the document from Fintiba will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

8. General Conditions
8.1. Fintiba reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Scholarship giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Fintiba’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Scholarship giveaway, as determined by Fintiba in its sole discretion.
8.2. Fintiba is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by participants, tampering, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Scholarship giveaway.
8.3. Fintiba is not responsible for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software.
8.4. Participation in the Scholarship giveaway does not entitle participants to any of Fintiba’s services.
8.5. Participation in the Scholarship giveaway does not entitle participants to any assistance by Fintiba for obtaining a visa to enter or reside in Germany.

9. Exclusion from participation

Fintiba reserves the right to exclude a participant from the Scholarship giveaway in the event of a breach of the conditions of participation or if there is reasonable suspicion of abuse, fraud or any other unauthorized gaining of advantage by a participant.

10. Limitation of liability

Liability for damages on the part of Fintiba, including its legal representatives, employees and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the Scholarship giveaway is limited to cases of intent or gross negligence. Damages due to injury to life, body and health or under the Product Liability Act are excluded from the limitation of liability. In addition, Fintiba shall be liable for breaches of essential obligations caused by slight negligence, the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper execution of the Scholarship giveaway and on the observance of which the participants regularly rely, whereby the scope of liability in such a case is limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.

11. Data protection

11.1. The controller within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) is Fintiba.

11.2. The personal data of the participants provided in the context of participation will be processed for the purpose of participation in the Scholarship giveaway, its implementation and the announcement of the winners. The legal basis in each case is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. If consent is withdrawn, participation in the Scholarship giveaway is no longer possible.

11.3. All participants have the following rights vis-à-vis Fintiba with regard to the processing of their personal data: Right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to object to processing, right to be informed in connection with the rectification or erasure of personal data or the restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to withdraw consent under data protection law, right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

12. Legal process

Legal recourse is excluded.

13. Applicable law

The scholarship and these conditions of participation are subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
