How do I get started with the Fintiba Referral Programme?

After you open your Fintiba account, you get access to your member Fintiba dashboard and can generate a referral code.

You can send your referral code to as many friends as you wish, who should use it to open a Fintiba Plus account on our website.

There is no limit to how many friends you can refer. The more friends you successfully refer, the more rewards you get! Track how many friends used your code and how many rewards you have earned by checking the status in your Fintiba app.

When will I receive my Referral reward?

As a Member (an existing Fintiba user), you will receive a referral reward once the following conditions are met:

a) The status of the Referral (the friend with whom you have shared a code) is changed to “Qualified”. This means that your friend has transferred the necessary blocked amount into their Fintiba Plus account and their blocking confirmation has been issued,

As a Referral (you used the code of a friend to open your account), you will receive a referral reward once all of the following conditions are met (unless you use your revocation right to cancel your health insurance within 14 days from activation in which case you will not receive a referral reward):

a) You purchase directly the Fintiba Plus package, or upgrade to it within the next 30 days after the purchase of Fintiba Basic.

b) The status of the Referral is changed to “Approved”. This means that your health insurance is activated, or your pay-outs are set-up.

c) You as the Referral have not used the revocation right within the next 14 days after the health insurance was activated.

I have not received my reward – Who do I contact about this?

All referral rewards are sent via email to your Fintiba email by our partner provider Tango Card. Please double-check your Inbox for the email and be sure to also check your Spam folder as sometimes rewards might end up there.

📌 Please note that for referrals – the EUR 15.00 is only issued if you purchased the Fintiba Plus package, 14 days after you have activated your health insurance.

Where and how can I use my reward?

The rewards you can get from the Fintiba referral programme are in the form of a virtual pre-paid Mastercard. This means you do not get a physical plastic card, but rather the details of a card are sent to you via email. Pre-paid means that the card has a certain amount of money already loaded on it.

Virtual cards and physical plastic cards can both be used online, over the phone and for mail-in payments. You can even add them to your favourite retailer, service or fast-food mobile apps as a payment method. Some stores or other service businesses may be willing to type in your virtual card information but allowing a card to be typed in is up to the store´s policy, so you will need to check on a case-by-case with them.

For online payments, you will need your 16-digit card number, the expiration date, and the security code. Most web merchants run address verification during checkout, to make sure that the address of the card and the address you give the merchant are a match. Be sure your card address is up to date.

If you move or need to make an address change for any reason, you can edit the card address at any time, by following these steps:

Log into your Wallet, go to the Menu and click Profile.
Here, you can edit your Wallet address, which means that the next card you add to your wallet will use this address.
You can also update the address of an individual card by clicking on a card in your Wallet or clicking on the original email that was sent to you.
Then, select the Edit option, which is next to the address.
📌 Note: Your card can´t be used at an ATM or bank for cash, unless the back of your card lists cash access fees.

Does my reward expire?

All referral rewards are sent via email to your Fintiba email by our partner provider Tango Card. Please double-check your Inbox for the email and be sure to also check your Spam folder as sometimes rewards might end up there.

📌 Please note you have 4 months to activate your referral reward from the time it was issued, meaning sent to you via email.

An already activated prepaid card can also expire, so pay close attention to the expiration date (which is 7 months after activation). The card can be used until the last day of the month it expires, up until midnight Eastern Standard Time. You won’t be able to use remaining funds after expiration, they are not transferable and would not be reissued by Fintiba.

How do I check my balance of my referral rewards?

You can check your balance, card details, PINs, spending history and more online at any time. Log into your Wallet at https://www.prepaiddigitalsolutions.com/Login and click on a card or click on the original email that was sent to you.
