Veneta has lived in Germany for a total of more than ten years, first arriving to pursue her bachelor’s degree and later returning to further develop her career. Having experienced life in Germany both as a student and as a professional, she brings a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities internationals encounter. For the past four years, she ensures that customers clearly understand essential products such as the blocked account and health insurance required for their visa applications. To make these processes more accessible, she has moderated webinars and created and coordinated tutorials, social media content, and on-demand videos that explain key steps of the journey to Germany – from university applications to visa procedures. Her expertise also extends to published research. She is a co-author of the Fintiba Insights paper “Integration of Internationals in Germany” and the follow-up study “Zwischen Willkommen und Wirklichkeit” (Between Welcome and Reality), which examine how international STEM students can be better integrated into German society and the job market.
